Adrenal gland and Thymus gland:
The Purist Natural Supplements On The Market Today!

"Improve Your Health And Fight Stress And Other Aliments The Natural Way"

(Calgary, AB) Product quality has always has always been the #1 concern for Life Choice. There are many natural supplements on the market, but few match the quality and the purity of the Life Choice brand.
All Life Choice natural supplements are clinically tested, government approved and licensed. Every product in the Life Choice family is formulated under the direct supervision of Dr. Eldon Dahl , the company's CEO and a trained naturopath.

Unlike some other natural supplements on the market, Life Choice products are specifically formulated to have therapeutic and medicinal value.

Take for example, Life Choice's Adrenal Gland and Thymus Gland, these are both high quality natural supplements whose ingredients consists of only the purest natural raw materials. Adrenal Gland for example, uses only cconcentrates (not extracts) that are derived from New Zealand range-grazed bovine. The grasslands are non-fertilized and the animals are not administered feed supplements, hormones or antibiotics. Life Choice Thymus gland is formulated from organic New Zealand lamb.

ADRENAL GLAND

The adrenal glands rest just above your kidneys. These glands secrete corisol, and stimulate our bodies to produce progesterone and testosterone, among other hormones. Adrenal fatigue occurs when the adernal glands function below normal levels. Stress can cause adrenal fatigue. There are a variety of supplements including vitamins, minerals and hormones recommened to ease adernal fatigue. Information about supplements and recommendations cited are from James Balch, M.D., author of Prescription for Natural Healing, Avery, New York, 2000"

Adrenal fatigue can have any of a number of symptoms. Signs to watch for include but are not limited to increased cravings for salt, heightened PMS, depleted energy and lessened sex drive."

The benefits of Desiccated Glandular Tissue include fat loss, muscle building, better digestion, and other improvements often taken for granted. Glandular therapy "works" because it is said to increase the tone, function, and/or activity of the corresponding gland, which in turn benefits the entire human system.

Our glandulars are concentrates (not extracts) and are derived from New Zealand range-grazed bovine. The grasslands are non-fertilized and the animals are not administered feed supplements, hormones or antibiotics. In New Zealand, animals that have been treated with growth hormones are always marked and processed separately from non-treated animals, ensuring that organic sources are never mixed in with non-organic. The glands are quick frozen, never exceeding -5C. Their cellular structure is not damaged and is preserved in a biologically active and live state. Source materials are not subjected to organic or aqueous solvents and therefore no chlorohydrocarbon remain as residue in the tissues.

The rise of antibiotics has contributed to the decline of pharmaceutical glandular therapy research. However, just because the glandular approach is no longer popular for these clinical studies does not invalidate the usefulness of the approach or diminish the validity of its therapeutic value. In fact, while it is considered Alternative Medicine (which is not generally recognized as effective by the medical community at large) in the United States, glandular therapy is one of India's largest branches of Ayurvedic Medicine (a 2,000 year old system of medicine based on a holistic approach).
The extracts, once taken from the animals used, are known clinically as protomorphogens. They provide immediate as well as long-term benefits. Glandular therapy is useful if a patients endocrine system is under-producing or under-secreting a specific hormone. It can also be used when an organ is weak or diseased--for example, such is often the case with cancer patients. Because glandular therapy is generally effective for those diagnosed with a terminal illness, it is also recommended for preventative measures. Another principle behind the benefit of glandular therapy is that glandular tissues are rich in many nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, polypeptides, enzymes, and many other substances, and this is another reason why they work. The tissues work with all other products and foods you ingest. In this sense, glandular therapy can supply your missing essential nutritional needs in a highly efficient manner. For a tissue cell to repair or replace itself, it must have the raw materials to do so. Glandular therapy provides these raw materials to your weakened organs, glands, and other tissues so that they can start the process of regeneration.
We have also supported our glandular with calciumascorbate, this is vitamin C buffered with calcium. Stress and anxiety affect the adrenals. When this happens, vitamin C and calcium act like shock absorbers. In both stress and anxiety, urinary calcium has been found to increase, meaning that the calcium in the body is decreasing. Because calcium stores deplete when stress hits, it is important to provide an extra buffer.
Gotu kola is also in this formulation. It has a significant history in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine as a treatment for anxiety and depression. In one trial, 40 people were split into two groups, one receiving 12g gotu kola, and the other receiving placebo, to determine the effect on anxiety. The gotu kola significantly decreased anxiety within 30-60 minutes when compared to placebo.
In conclusion, if stimulated even slightly, many of the healthy hormones found in our glandular tissues can begin their genetic tasks as they did before. For example, a small polypeptide material present in one tissue can have selective effects in encouraging another tissue at a different site in the body to produce hormonal materials, which then may affect a final target tissue and change its physiological function. This domino effect can happen only if target-specific polypeptides from specific organs are present. Life Choice works meticulously to ensure that our products will produce these desired results... more

THYMUS GLAND - The thymus produces T-lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell responsible for ''cell-mediated immunity.” This term refers to immune mechanisms not controlled or mediated by antibodies. Cell-mediated immunity is extremely important in resisting infection by mold-like bacteria: yeast, fungi, parasites, viruses, toxins and allergens. The function of the thymus gland is to program white blood cells, the body’s immune army, in their various tasks and then send them into the blood to recognize and destroy pathogens. It ''instructs'' certain T-cells what to attack and when. Some of the T-cells, in turn, control other white cells, which are responsible for maintaining certain antibodies. Without the thymus's instructions, the T-cells may fail to attack enemies like bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells,or they may even mistake some of your own cells for an invading enemy and attack you--known as autoimmune disease. Examples of autoimmune disease are: multiple sclerosis, cancer, atherosclerosis, adult-onset diabetes, and rheumatic diseases such as arthritis.

The thymus gland, weighs less than half of an ounce at birth, but by puberty, the thymus will reach to its maximum size of about 10 ounces. After age 20, the thymus begins to shrink (atrophy) and thymic cells progressively die off to be replaced by fat and connective tissue. At the critical early twenties stage, the abundance of well-functioning T-cells regulate the immune system and help the body fight off pathogens and disease. But with the inexorable shrinking of the thymus gland over time, by about age forty, the output of thymic hormones has decreased significantly, and the T-cells have begun to lose their effectiveness. It is this gradual loss of functioning T-cells that is thought to be responsible for many of the age-related changes in the immune system. The thymus gland is also highly responsive to our emotions and shuts down when we are feeling stressed, unfulfilled, and without purpose. As a result, the white blood cells become fewer in number and less aggressive.

Life Choice Thymus Gland

Support for the thymus gland can be achieved through a healthy diet; healthy sleep patterns so that the body produces melatonin and receives adequate rest; water and exercise, and our learning to manage stress effectively.

Life Choice Thymus gland is formulated from organic New Zealand lamb. Cellular delivery is as important as the gland itself. Zinc and B-6 must be available within the system for thymic absorption to occur, and because of this, we have formulated our Thymus with the best transporters, Zinc Picolinate and P5P—as usual, nothing but the very best.Thymus: the Immunity Glandmore
