Alzheimer's And Dementia; 40 And 50 Year Olds Are Now Being Diagnosed With The Disease

Alzheimer's And Dementia:
40 and 50 Year Olds Are Now Being Diagnosed WithThe Disease

(Calgary, AB) - When you think of Alzheimer's and Dementia you always think of elderly people, getting the disease; people 65 and over. Not true! A recent story that first appeared on CTV News on January 6, 2014 shows that the disease is now affecting younger people (-65). Men and women in their 40's and 50's are now showing the symptoms.

In 2009, a report released by the  Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and The Northwest Territories Region stated that 71,000 young Canadians have the disease.

In Australia,  a health report issued by the Australian government estimated that "Younger Onset Dementia" affecting people under the age of 65, in 2011 was approximately 23,900.

In the United Kindom, a report issued by their Alzheimer's Society stated that there were more than 17,000 younger people with dementia. However, the report went on to state "this number is likely to be an under-estimate, and the true figure may be up to three times higher. Data on the numbers of people with young-onset dementia are based on referrals to services, but not all those with young-onset dementia seek help in an early stage of the disease."

In the United States a recent report estimated that 200,000 young people have Onset Alzheimer's.

At Life Choice, we understand! It was for this very reason, that Dr. Eldon Dahl,  Life Choice's CEO and a trained naturopath, formulated 2 Life Choice products to help with memory and cognition: Neurotransmitter Support and Memory Support.

Neurotransmitter Support

This wonderful recipe is a feast for brains in need of restoration, providing the optimum combination to facilitate the transport of vital nutrients into brain cells, and assist in re-establishment of neuronal function. And it’s a healthy snack for an aging brain, as well, giving it all the essentials necessary to support our mood, memory, and cognitive abilities, which tend to slow down as the years pass by more.

 Memory Support

Acetyl-L-carnitine and alpha-lipoic acid are each impressive supplements in their own right; however, research is showing that in combining these two supplements, the deterioration associated with aging can be subdued or even reversedmore
